Western Sportsman Club, a Delaware corporation, was organized in 1955 to represent property owners of lots at Cedar Lake. Each “A” stock lot is represented as a voting share in Western Sportsman Club, Inc. Western Sportsman Club levies and collects assessments and establishes rules and regulations for the improvement and maintenance of the lake and common areas as set forth in the bylaws of the corporation.
All of the lots on the lake are sold subject to plat restrictions which run with the property.
In November of 1986 due to a geological condition the lake suddenly drained leaving the community without its lake. After two and a half years of reconstruction of the lake bed and dam it was rededicated in May of 1989
